Crucifers and Acolytes

Every Sunday, our worship begins with the Cross being processed into the sanctuary. While sometimes an adult will do this, most often, it is the youth at St. Luke’s who carry in the Cross. A sign-up sheet for those who would like this privilege is on the sign-up board in the hallway leading to the sanctuary. David Hay coordinates our crucifers, so please see him if you have any questions.

Acolytes bring in the light of Christ and light the altar candles. Responsible older children as well as youth and adults fulfill this role for us at St. Luke’s. If you would like to be an acolyte, please see Colleen Cassada and Heather Jones.
